Issues with Technologies

No doubt I, myself have the same problem with technologies nowadays. I have to check my phone every 5 to 10 minutes. Scrolling Facebook, Twitter and Instagram until I fall asleep and waking up scrolling again. I never thought that it would become a problem until my family have the same habit until our old tradition are gone. :( How sad!

Remember every morning,when technologies were not part of our life,( I don't refer 'when I was a kid' because this only happens couples of years back, which was not long ago.) We greet each other with warm greetings, sometimes we even cuddle together. and we would say ' Hey Mum, What's for breakfast? Are we going anywhere on a Sunday? Yeap, Basically, we talked.

How about now?

Every morning, first thing we ever do, check notification from midnight, replying message or maybe just scrolling Facebook. It probably take more than 30 minutes.

When do I realize that I depend on technologies so much,?it was one of the evening when the sky was pouring and thunders non-stop striking forcing me to off the internet connection

At that very moment. I am lost.

I realize I got nothing to do.
 So I started to recall what I do last time when I was in the same situation.

Reading newspaper was what I always do. Board game, storybooks, chit chat with family, watch DVD,slouching on couch,  doing the silliest things with my brothers. I know all these are really lame but this is way more meaningful than just have your eyes on devices all the time. It is so heartbreaking when you see a family all eyed on their devices during their meals. This apply to all age group. Personally I think having conversation with family is really important, simply catching up with each other, talking about politics, work, drama, movies and etc are good enough!

I am really glad that my family have a rule to have dinner together and we talk about what we been through for the day.

 Of course if I want to change people, then I have to change first. So........

I try not to bring my phone out when I have family meals outside of our house. Every morning the first thing I would just off my alarm and start my day! ( Well, I still scroll my social network. It's a habit already. Trying to change)

I really hope the every-Sunday- activity will work for my family again! Well, with condition everyone can crawl from their bed early morning! HAHAHAHA

Just my thought on technologies in our generation! Yet, technologies still helped us a lot in our daily life so we must appreciate but not depend on it!

Quick update! :D [Uni +Ipoh]

Ba la Bi la Beeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

Guys don't get me wrong! I actually had a long long long post written when I just started my uni life. But it was way too long to post it! I'm afraid you guys will actually fall asleep! =p

Okay so basically I'm studying at Help University, Damansara Campus. I'll start my year 1 semester 2 soon. Which is like couple of days away. Hehehehehe!

Let's talk about my first semester.
To be honest, I felt like I just screwed my first semester and wasted all my time hanging around doing nothing. Is like I don't know what's mass communication , what exactly this degree are, what is going on and not sure is this really what I want. I didn't join any of the clubs activities at all but just slack around! Damn regret. Assignment. Classes. At some point I really wonder why I didn't study hard enough in my A-level days so that I can be medical student or engineer like my brothers. Now I got no one to look up to!!! :( Have to discover the path myself  :(

While the positive side of this course is not having thick thick text book? hehehe!
Oh ya! and a bunch of friendly friends and seniors! Thanks!

Resolution for 2nd semester!

okay I'm excited!

Recently got hooked up with photography! I'm a very beginner in this field but yeah I'm into it!
After learning some of the skill through Youtube, I went to Ipoh to practice my rough skills!

Malswisse make-up class!

Is been a fulfilling holiday for the past few weeks! Other than visiting universities around Kuala Lumpur, my friend and I decided to go for a make-up class after seeing an offer on groupon!

The idea started off when both of our mums actually wanted us to go for a finishing class after our college! We can''t find any of it but this!Malswisse. They actually having a promotion period until 31 March.
They provide a lot of different classes like make-up, hair styling, skin care and etc.

We tried out for the make-up class. It only cost RM 40 for 2 section.
There are 3 branches. SS2, Fahrenheit88 and Empire, Subang.

We went to the Fahrenheit88 branch. It is quite easy to find but just a bit out of the main building. Anyway don't hesitate to step in when you saw the shop. hahaha! you will know why I said these when you get there!

Anyway the first section, we had our skin care class!. From here I know my skin is in bad condition. :(
Too dehydrate! There're actually 9 step to maintain a flawless facial! I know.. there were 9 steps to do after you get up from the bed in the morning and going back to the bed at night. Total 18 times!

1. Makeup remover /dust remover
2. Milk cleanser
3. Deep cleanser
4. Scrub
5. Masque
6. Toner
7. Serum
8. Moisturiser
9. Sunblock

Okay, I know is a lot.. but I'm trying to get use to it! HAHAHAHA

Then we had a simple everyday make-up too.

It went quite bad... may be because I don't really know how to make-up. The problem with me is the eyeliner! OMG! is just so hard to get it right! It was a mess! And I really don't understand why people still apply pink eye shadow -.-
So I end up washing it off right after I step out of the store. Same goes to my friend.

Second section!

Today class is about Dinner make-up. It will be a heavy make-up!
( I was wondering should I wear something nicer to go like dress or skirt? Anyway I end up with my shorts. HAHA)

Same old problem... Eye-liner! My biggest enemy! Even the instructor can't bear with me! hahaha!
Other than that it was quite okay! I got to choose my eye shadow this time! I choose a brown and dark brown! Smokey! Love it!

LOL! okay I open my eyes to the widest! Scary!

I also learned how to put fake eye lashes! I can't do it at home every single time! But in here , I DID IT! wohoo!! It really enlarge my eyes size.. My eyes both doubled their original size!

Visit Green Cow Studio

There a lecturer in Utar invited me to visit her student that will have their recoding in green cow studio as their final project.

Is really far from my house as this studio is located near Bandar Sri Damansara., Tago Industrial Park.

it took me more then an hour to reach .

Well is an amazing experience!

Things that we always see on TV really exist in front of my eyes! In the studio itself, there are 3 complicated cameras lies over the end of the studio and tonnes of wire are around. As i look above, There are so many light around!

I also got a chance to visit the control room. 

The moment I step inside the control room I was like WOW.

The equipments are so fascinating! All I can see were buttons, wires, microphones, laptop and large machine! 

I also able to witness final year student from Utar to shoot their project.

 From the empty to a studio packed with props in just 1 and a half hours! CLAP CLAP!

(hehe ! For me, the set-up is quite simple and messy. It can be done nicer and more ordered!)

People are running around! here and there !

PHEW! 

I can see they are so stress up! There was even a small accident while they preparing their props! luckily she was okay!

They had their rehearsal. This is when I'm so impress by a girl that controlling the set and also communicating with the directer in the control room! She was attentive! For me she is the core of the project other than the directer!

The act was funny and cute! hahaha Good luck guys! 

There goes my experience in a proper studio! Amazing experience and thanks to the lecturers and the people who shared their experiences with me!  

The head of department definitely is a nice and funny yet serious person! Love it!

Getting A-level result ..Gone through Hell

First blog post in 2014... Well, hopefully I have more passion to to more blog post this year! :D

If you are planning to study A-level, please dont read this blog post. LOL

Well, I got my result on 6 of March.

 Getting A-level result is really different from getting SPM result or PMR result. Because I know what to expect in both SPM and PMR.

hehe

(I got some achievement in my SPM tho =p)

To be honest, I don't really have any expectation for my A-level result to be good because my final result is also based on the points that I had accumulate from previous semester.

Mum told me I didn't sleep well since I came back from my trip (couple of days before the release of my result).

That's true

Most of the night I've been dreaming about me looking at my result slip but I can't get to see my actual result, it's blur.

On that day itself, I went with one of my bestie I met in A-level, Anne. Love her so much! Muakz! 

We were both nervous as hell..................................

Then my lovely, Michelle came in, then my boss, Nirmalan! The atmosphere is even worst -.-

OKAY! Enter the room! Ms. Mabel were giving speech which I don't really concentrate in what was she talking... I only heard our batch have 99% passing rate... The only thing in my mind was... Will I be the 1 % failing!?!?!? D:

 okay BLA BLA BLA BLA

my turn to take result.... First thing I'm looking was the "fail corner' OMG THAT'S NO 'U' . Then I see my result ... why all look like 'B' one? WOW so happy ! when I really look at it.... I actually got some 'D' too....

CRUSH..... My heart totally sink .

On the brighter side, my retake papers are doing quite well but it hasn't hit my target yet. 

Anyhow, I still went to sing-k with my classmate! Erm release a bit stress....

Mum and Dad both called me .

They didn't really sound bad but I know if I'm compared with my brothers I'm such a failure. Indeed, it is very hurtful to hear them saying they are relieved because I got no fails. Previously, getting A are relieve but now my standard is only pass ........

I'm sorry. 

With my result I'm able to enter degree course but not those prestigious courses like pharmacy, doctors, engineers. So, now I'm in dilemma of choosing Mass communication (major in broadcasting) or Nutrition and dietitians.

  

Starbucks week!

It is right in front of college that I'm attending currently! USCI ,Taman connaught.

This few weeks I've been playing a lot of badminton with my college friends because there is a sport carnival for pre-u students (A-level and foundation)

Tired die me! luckily I don't have to wait for shuttle then lrt then bus to get home! if not I'll faint instead!

hehe I also stay back for studies in library! PROUD!

Up and down

I believe everyone in this world would have been through up and down through life no matter what age you are in,

Basically with these, person only able to grow to be more mature... erm lets call it life experiences..

I know at my age I shouldn't be so negative about life and having too much things to worry about since is the last year of being in teenage!

But recently there are too much things happen that make me feel helpless and didn't know who to talk to..

Well, you guys may see I have a great family but to be honest I don't really shares my stuffs with my family especially it comes to problem I'm facing....because I feel those problem is all because of my action and I'm embarrassed to talk about it.Hence, I have to face it myself....which I always failed to do so .At the end I gave up and just laid on my bed doing nothing, which I think is very irresponsible.

well, problem I'm facing literally is because of my academic and also friends around me and some other personal problems.

In academic wise, 

I had very bad result that my parents are worried that I'm not able to attend degree next year.....my dad once told me that you are in the situation that course are choosing you instead of the other way round.Disappointment.my mum who always try to give all my siblings chance to oversea to have a experience in life had also gave up that thought when she saw my result.

I broke down.

I concluded that smart genes doesn't runs in family.

Well, Australia and Uk will be my choice ! Melbourne will be the best! :)

I heard there will be a prize giving ceremony! Well, obviously I'm not qualified for it.... :(

I wonder what are the requirements so that students can attend the ceremony! If there is a chance for me to attend, I will do whatever it takes to fulfill the requirements! :O 

anyhow, I'm determine to do well in my upcoming January exam! GO! if it came out good, I will improve my result by retaking some of the papers in June 2014! :D

okay, Friends.

I really thinks that I'm having some attitude problems -.- 

You see I don't really have much friends in university....compare to high school and national service...

In high school and NS, the bond between my friends and I comes naturally! We don't have to do much but our relationship are so good that we wont be awkward even when we don't talk. 

But come back to life in university, people that I hang out with are just few of them.....but I do have a lot of hi-bye friends.....However, these hi-bye friends will eventually become stranger after a while.

I really hope there will be trips amount my classmates .....or maybe batch mates. Going trip will give us more memories and hopefully our bond-made will be stronger!

I also hope  that  my parents wont stop me for going out with my classmates... because I had say 'no' a lot of times whenever there are  outing... I'm afraid that they will just got fed up and stop asking me out.....then that time I'm really alone...and 1 and a half years wasted.... 

I really enjoy the times when we go shopping...going changing room together...Wow! is like sisters!

Yeah, I'm desperate to have a sister in case you didn't know that!

I enjoyed having nice food with my classmates because they really good at finding food that are cheap and nice! then that time I'm really alone...and 1 and a half years wasted....

Linkin Park Living Things World Tour Malaysia 2013

yea it had been almost 1 week since the concert!

hehe sorry for too lazy to on my computer!

Basically is the best concert I ever ever been!!!

Thanks to my eldest bro who bought our tix!

I went with my 2nd bro and Nicholas ,one of my current classmate.

We reach there around 5.30pm and the gate is expected to open at 6.30 pm

but the crowd wasn't as much as I expected..

We still able to line up near to the entrance ...can you imagine -.-

(because for normal kpop concert I'd been , people will be waiting outside the stadium a day before the concert starts! no offence!

LOL)

basically is a seated area and is freaking far from the stage .

the worst part wasn't this.

the worst part is 

organiser build a tall tall building I call it 'rack'

(is a place for crew members to do their lighting and recording)

it block the whole stage -.- i mean really ....i can't see anything on the stage -.-

and is so far that i can only see 2cm human being walking to and fro the stage.

the concert delayed 45 min! 

8.45pm it starts!

Goodbye Serena :(

Yesterday while eating dinner, my dad had told my family that he is surrendering the 12 years serena to nissan..

I was like so fast?!

So, in the morning , everyone woke up early .

Dad packing everything out from the car and I'm taking picture! LOL of cause my mum was dressing up (they heading out after surrendering the car)

When we reach there, it is so emotional! Because this car had gave us a lot of memory, wherever we  go surely she is the one that drive us there! every new year, every trip and for my dad is everyday !

I still remember the first day she came to our house! 

I was only 7 years old...I was so short that I don't have to bend my body to go into the car!

I can even sleep comfortably ,without bending my leg, at the last row of the seats

She grew up with us until today ! 

There is a funny fact about the reason my dad bought this car 12 years ago!

buying 7 seater car is to prevent fighting among my siblings and me! WOHOO!! hahaa

Okay la is time to say goodbye to serena! will always remember her!

Result A Level

I got my result today...

Well it was real bad...

I'm sad but I'm more tired...

I tried so hard for it but yet I'm getting the same result...

Isn't my faith not to get good result?

I'm grateful for those peoples that got excellent result! 

Even retake also full marks! *salute*

Anyway I want to congrats two of my best friends!Kahwai and munkiet! Haha! Full A man! is not easy! How I wish to got result that they got! anyway CONGRATZ! 

and my best girlfriend! haha I'm not really sure about her actual result but is great to hear that is better than she expected! So, another congrats yan! <3 nbsp="" p="">

Opus Jay 2013 world tour Malaysia !

What a night!

I mean Jay Chou's concert. Haha!

To be honest I don't really look forward to his concert when my brother, a hardcore fans, askes my second brother and me to go.

Since is FOC we both agreed to go!

We didn't really listen to his song much so our task is to listen all his new song before going to his concert

On 3rd of August, 3 of us went Stadium Bukit Jalil by lrt. While on lrt we saw many people wearing pink t-shirt then only we realise that the concert's theme is pink..LOL

The concert kick start at 8.30 pm! no doubt ...I started to scream because there is a rush to my brain telling me that I'm seeing my childhood idol!hahaha ...

In the beginning he sings a lot of new song from his recent album.

As I said earlier I don't listen all his recent song except for some big hit like 'Ming Ming Jiu'.

But still I scream all the way =p

There is a special performance from his new movie also.Rooftop.

He perform live musical with the actor inside the movie ....Here goes some trailer

It was a very cute performance! hahaha 

somehow in JayChou concert he must play his piano, and that is the best part for me!!!

(I like guys who play instruments....I fall for them easily!)

The big piano appear with him and I can't control myself. I started to hit my bro who sat beside me! XD

He sang some of his big hit with his grand piano like Mine Mine, Bu Neng Shuo DE Mi Mi, Yi lu xiang bei

After that the most interesting part comes!Oldies!!!

omg! he sang a lot of old songs like Hei Se Mou Yi, Cai Hong and a lot more! 

I feel is the best live karaoke session !!! 3 of us sang so so so so so loud and enjoy !!!!!

Last Sem!

It had been 3 weeks since must last sem starts!

Even it only had been 3 weeks, things are going crazy already.

My studies -.- 

tough! i don't understand what lecturer was saying... 

i flip through my textbook....then my notes...then my homework...

zzz going insane dy! 

i really salute those people that can survive over it and get good result !

basically this few months is my crucial months.

if i don't do well in my January exam..that's it...will head toward something that i don't like much ---Accounting.

Recently i went to emergency room to accompany my relative,

i was standing there and looking doctors and nurses tho and fru, tense face, non-stop calling people to help and move away

(really like in those movie)

That night i can't sleep because i keep thinking about the environment.

and i realise that i want to have this kind of life.

this is really the first time that i thought of being a doctor in the future...

i don't really like to sit on the desk and just do paperwork.

hopefully my last sem will save me...

Movies in one week!

So... Hi! yea I know is July! so Happy July!

for some of you wonder why update my blog now,is because Astro had let my family down :( waiting for maintenance...so yeah! let's do some update! 

My June 2013 Edexcel exam just ended like couple of weeks ago!(18th June) Of cause I had hangout with my collegemate! We walked around Pavillion, Fahrenheit88 and H&M. 

We watched a movie too ! 'Now you see me' directed by Louis Leterrier. It was a very nice show! watching it is like watching magic show and is FUN! I mean can you ever imagine someone robbed a bank in front of  so many people? haha here's the trailer    

I've watch man of steel too!directed by Zack Snyder.

Normally I don't watch superheroes movies but this time my friends just kinda of influence me to watch! HAHA

I've never watch any of the version of superman...but I can say that is a okay movie for me!

The story starts when the planet of Krypton is facing destruction! So, father of superman sent the natural birth baby (superman, clark) to place that we all now standing on , Earth.the movie basically talk about how Clark adapt to human world and be part of human world.Which at the end he also save the earth from a evil troop from Krypton as well... LOL my review is so general ! but in the movie had a lot of talking which make me fall a sleep in some part..hehe but yet there are some humor in this movie too ..the main character (Superman, Clark )cast by Henry Cavill is super hot and handsome!!  trailer time !

NEXT! movie that I had waited for a long time!This cute film is produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Dan Scanlon is the director and Kori Rae is the producer. This film basically talked about the early-life of Mike and Sulley, before they join the scaring company, Monsters Inc. .Both they met in Monster University(MU). They had been enemy since day one! Both of them have very different characteristics and never agree with each other! Some where in the film they both kicked out by their scaring faculty Dean, Hardscrabble. The only way to rejoining the faculty is to win a event 'Scare Game'. As the film go on, they talk about how Mike, Sulley and their unfit group mates ,Oozma Kappa, work together as a team and win their biggest enemy, Roar Omega Roar. However, Sulley decided to cheat because he thinks that Mike are never scary and may bring the team down.When Mike discovered what Sulley had done, he felt heartbroken and broke into door lab wanting to prove his ability as a scarer. He used a newly made door to connect to human world at a camp.He failed to scare kids there . Sulley had enter the door to rescue Mike.But when they going back to the door, their dean had shut the power source making both Mike and Sulley stuck in human world! Mike,which is very knowledgeable, had came out a plan which they can generate energy from this side ! So, both of them had worked together to generate screams from adult human! They succeed! I mean they had more than enough energy! However, they didnt get back into scaring program instead they worked at Monsters Inc. in mailroom and work their way up to be a scarer! It's a meaningful movie but it is a long movie as well! For me, I don't think is a movie that have to watch in cinema....I mean you can buy their original DVD to watch at home or maybe wait for their premier at HBO or FOX movie channel .

Last but not least! War World Z! WOHOO!!! i can say it is a  MUST WATCH MOVIE !directed by Marc Forster.

I watched this film at the fourth row from the screen...so it was soooooooo close that even when I cover my face yet I still can see  the screen! LOL well..this film is long ,almost 2 hours but is not boring.Is exciting! hahaha!

especially you go and watch with bunch of crazy friends ! haha! this film is about virus that transmit among human  but cure is not found yet.Scientist had suspect rabies that turn human into zombie in 12 second. Gerry Lane, cast by Brad Pitt,he is former United Nations investigator who is called to return to his previous job to investigate the source of the disease!As he go along a lot of interesting stuff had happen.It is intense at first but it became funny at the end.... because along the way while he investigate, noise that they made had waken those zombie...and they did those noise in a hilarious way!along the way, Grerry had discover some people are not infected by those zombie!So, when he reach WHO in UK he realise the used of camouflage by using disease like H1N1, SARS... (I dont really remember what is the explanation about using this diseases..sry -.-)LOL is a 9/10 movie! anyway...i think Brad Pitt should really go and have hair cut....is so long .... -.-

The Lemon Garden, Shangri-LA Hotel

One week ago my family and I had go for buffet dinner to celebrate my brother got his first promotion after 1 year of working in his company.
We went for something good which is The Lemon Garden ,Shangri-la Hotel.
It was really good as it have different variety of food.there are few section such as Chinese food, Malaysian food, Middle East food ,dessert and the most wanted -----SEAFOOD!

I personally love their desert very much! Basically they just broke the stereotype saying that hotel's desert not that delicious!

BUT I turn out that I LOVE THEM ALL !

(okay I'm this is the first time having buffet here.so yeah! I'm excited!)
